Fall Kickoff in Walker
Fall Has It All starts off slowly in Walker on September 15th, with a great farmers market filled with local produce, and ends with an amazing banquet that helps to benefit Ducks Unlimited. The first day starts off slow in Walker because it gives visitors and locals alike a chance to explore the beauty of the Fall colors as they begin to peak, a site not to be missed.
Fall Has It All Day 2: Running and Classic Rides
The second day of Fall Has It All is when things really ramp up in Walker with a variety of larger events. These include the award winning North Country Marathon, voted Minnesota’s best marathon. The race starts in beautiful Walker Minnesota and follows a path along the shores of Leech Lake before reaching the Chippewa National forest, where runners experience the crunch of fall leaves beneath their feet while passing underneath the tapestry changing fall colors. After you finish the marathon, be sure to check out the traveling car show in the Walker City Park on the shores of Leech Lake.
