You can vote for your favorite town! And Walker is coming on strong being in the heat of the final ten towns out of the original 31, but Walker needs a strong finish. The home page of this website, bestmntown.com/, is a polling place, and you can cast your vote for the town finalist that you think most deserves to be named Minnesota Monthly‘s Best MN Town of 2017.
Each person will be allowed to vote up to 10 times per day between now and October 13th. If you run out of votes, tell you friends and family to join in!
The public vote will make up 25% of the score for each finalist, with 75% coming from a panel of Minnesotans.
The magazine, Minnesota Monthly’s editorial team, a panel of community representatives, and a popular vote will all play a role in the selection of the winner from nominated towns. For full details on the selection and scoring, please see, bestmntown.com/.
These are Minnesota Monthly’s offerings to the winning town; A multi-page editorial feature on the Best MN Town will run in our February 2018 issue of Minnesota Monthly. 20 Tickets to our 2017 Best of MN event to participate in the celebration & metro Twin Cities area announcement. Giving a ticket package to Minnesota Monthly events to be used to help your town fundraise or reward community members for contributions. Ticket package includes 2 tickets to each of the following events: The 2018 Food & Wine Experience, Grillfest 2018, Fine Spirits Classic 2018, Slice of the Twin Cities 2018, and The Best of Minnesota 2018. They will throw a party in your own town! Minnesota Monthly will work with the town’s designated official office to coordinate a hosted party for up to 100 attendees, with food and beverage sampling. Dates, locations, and specifics to be mutually agreed upon.
