Snowmobile Trails – January 10, 2022

1-10-22:  Update

I had the opportunity to ride this past weekend which was FANTASTIC and even with all of the snow we’ve had in the past few weeks, we still could use more for our trail systems.  They are predicting another 2-5″ tonight through tomorrow, so keep your fingers crossed.  I’ve updated the weekly grooming schedules below as of today’s date.

Leech Lake Area:  Groomers have covered the Soo Line by Sucker Bay Road; Heartland Trail from Walker to Cass Lake.  Today, they will hit Snoway 1 and County 40 Ditches today.

Longville Area:  Grooming schedule:

Monday & Thursday – Chippewa West & Lost Girl Trail

Wednesday – Triville

Tuesday & Thursday – Chippewa South and Woodlake Trail

The club plans to groom most of the lakes and bogs by the week’s end.  Schedule may vary based on weather conditions.

Nevis Area:  All trails will be done by Tuesday evening.

Backus Area:  Planned grooming schedule for their area is:

Monday & Thursday – Paul Bunyan

Tuesday – Aspen Trail

Wednesday – Snowsnake Trail & Snoway 1 Trail
