A moment in Time: Walker’s Bucket Brigade
The Bucket Brigade was organized in October of 1896 with 24 pails and a few ladders. A bell and tower were built between 4th and 5th streets. Members were Kuhlander, Dearing, Bilben, LaVigne, Mohler, Chapin, Jamison, Campbell, Fisher, Grey, Haldeman, Rieder, DeLury, and Erickson.
