A moment in time: Walker’s Auto Club
This was a touring and social organization formed in the late teens/early 20s. Members toured over trails to Itasca Park, Breezy Point, and other area towns. Picnic lunches were packed and enjoyed at the turn-around points. The Club was awarded the Club Cup by the Minnesota State Automobile Association for the most mileage in the 1918 State Fair Automobile Club Tour. The cup is on display at the Cass County Museum.
