Member of the week: Walker Youth Hockey

Walker Youth hockey is a non-profit organization that offers youth the opportunity to learn life lessons thru the sport of hockey.  We are funded thru our charitable gambling, various fund raisers, and player registrations.

Our goal is to keep it as inexpensive as possible to area families.  We offer free gear and registration for kids up to the age of 8. 

We have seen an increase in kids playing in the program over the past couple of years since we are have made a great effort to change the culture of Walker Youth hockey.

Hockey not only helps kids, but it helps our community.  In conglomeration with the Duluth Youth hockey association, the economic impart to Walker is just shy of $500,000 on an annual basis.  So your continued support is greatly appreciated by the kids that get to enjoy the great sport of hockey.
