Member of the week: Tianna Country Club

Tianna Country Club is a beautiful 18-hole golf course located on the edge of the Chippewa National Forrest just south of Walker in Northern Minnesota. Tianna’s scenic layout, emerald green fairway and manicured green makes this course a must play on every golfer’s list.

Open to the public since 1925, Tianna offers a golf course for players at every level. For their enjoyment, golfers can choose from 5 sets of tees that range from 3873 to 6644 yards. They can also fine tune their game at our beautiful practice facility which includes a driving range, chipping area and putting green. Younger golfers can take advantage of junior camps and lessons during the summer months.  For all golfers, lessons are also available upon request.  While at the course, visitors can enjoy our bar and grill for cool cocktails and delicious delights.  There is also an extensive Pro Shop to supply all your golfing needs.

Tianna is famous for its Hole #2. It has been chosen for Explore Minnesota’s Dream 18 and was vote the “Best Golf Hole in Minnesota” by WCCO viewers. Hole 2 at Tianna Country Club is a 170-yard par three with five different places to tee off. It features an elevated tee box with direct view of the sprawling green. Before the fairway, you pass through the pines and clear a pond. A sand trap guards the left side of the pitched green. Long puts must be strategized.
