Member of the week: North Country National Scenic Trail

The North Country Trail Association’s Itasca Moraine Chapter is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the completion of the North Country Scenic Trail (NCT) across Hubbard County.  You are invited to join our celebration.

The NCT crosses the State of Minnesota for a total of 840 miles from Fort Abercrombie on the Red River South of Fargo-Moorhead to near Jay Cooke State Park south of Duluth.  The NCT is the longest hiking trail in the United States spanning more than 4,600 miles.  The NCT Association is a membership driven, non profit organization committed to developing, maintaining and promoting the NCT through the national network of volunteers, chapters, partner organizations and government agencies.  check our facebook.com/NCTinMN for event updates.
