Member of the week: City Sanitary Service

City Sanitary Service has been in the Ihrke family for over 32 years.  When Ken and Kathy Ihrke moved to the Walker area in 1984 they purchased the sanitation service from Tom and Lynn Lemay.  Dan Ihrke, son of Ken and Kathy Ihrke, was a partner in the business and when Ken and Kathy retired, Dan and Michele Ihrke purchased it from them.  Dan and Michele have now owned it for 15 years and expanded the service area 10 years ago and moved into the Longville area.  They now service the Walker, Leech Lake, Ten Mile, Akeley, Longville, Laporte and Benedict area.  Dan and Michele are looking forward to servicing the area for another 30 years.
