Join Us for the Festival of Lights Celebration in Walker, MN
Looking for something fun and festive to do over Thanksgiving weekend? Join us in Walker on November 25th and 26th for our annual Festival of Lights celebration! We have lots of family friendly events going on each day that include Santa, LIVE reindeer, and great shopping. Here is a list of all the fun events we have scheduled that will be sure to get you and your family in the holiday spirit!
Friday, November 25th, 2022
Creative Craft Stations: 11AM-4PM
- Holiday make and take projects for all ages
- Traveling Art Pub Studio, TJ’s Floral, The Piggy, Green Scene, and Winedown
Festivus Photo Hunt: 12-4PM
- Start/end at Portage Brewing Company (family friendly)
- Fun treats and samplings along the way
Community Tree Lighting and Live Music: 5PM
- Located at the Village Square
- Live music by Kellogg Duo and Friends
“For the Love of” Luminary Walk: 5-7:30PM
- Located at the Rock Garden
- Acknowledge someone you love
- Organized by Hope Lutheran and St. Agnes
- Purchase at Hope and St. Agnes; Piggy and Winedown
Late Night Music: Friday and Saturday
- 7PM: Live music at The Chase
- 8:30PM-12:30AM: DJ at The Legion
Toys For Kids
- Fill the Fishouse with toys for kids at the 5th street block party
- Stores offering deals on toys and free delivery to fish house will be marked on their front door
Saturday, November 26th, 2022
Reindeer Ramble 5k: 9AM
- Prizes will be awarded
- $20/adults
Hot Cocoa Fun Run for Kids: 10AM
- Located at Chase on the Lake
- Registration at 8AM
- $10/kids
- Holiday outfits encouraged
Sip and Shop Saturday: 10AM-5PM
- Sales will begin on November 15 at the following: Sold at Heritage, Christmas Point, Green Scene, Piggy’s BBQ, and Chamber of Commerce
- Purchase our holiday sip and shop mug full of prizes, bogo, discounts,deals, and head out in town to use (limited quantity available)
- Located at Heritage/Christmas Point
Kids Santa Party: 11AM-1PM
- Located at the Walker Bay Theater
- Christmas bingo from 1-3PM
- Meet Santa and his reindeer

- Family photo ops, bonfires, and a hot chocolate stand
