Greetings from the Hiawatha Beach crew! Hiawatha has been around for 95 years, the last 55 of which have been under the ownership of the Jacobson family. Hiawatha is a year-round resort specializing in family-orientated activities. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the community of Walker and the surrounding areas for their overwhelming support for last year’s Wounded Warrior Weekend held at Hiawatha Beach. Your generous nature and appreciation for our veterans was truly appreciated. This year’s event will kick off May 2nd – 4th. If you wish to make a donation or volunteer in some capacity please call the American Legion at 547-1011.
