Friends of the Walker Public Library join the Chamber of Commerce

The Friends of the Walker Public Library are a group of people with a strong passion to support our community and LOVE our local library. The Friends meet monthly from May through August to discuss upcoming Friends events and explore ways to support our local library and community. Our current focus is to raise funds to build our new library, while we continue to support programs and activities not funded by the Kitchigami Regional Library System or the City of Walker. We would like to increase our number of year-round members. We welcome all individuals to join, whether you’re part of a club, organization, parents of a youngster, or just someone who is willing to contribute their time to the library and community.
