Fishing Report for week of July 26
Fishing Report- Swanson’s Bait & Tackle
Brought to us by Bill Hornung with Fish On Outdoors
Walleye- Fishing remains up and down. Hot temps with no wind makes the bite tough. Northwest winds are in the forecast so that should make wind-blown points good areas to look for fish. Try depths of 13-22ft with lindy rigs and live bait. Crawlers, leeches, and minnows should all be in the boat.
Panfish- Low light evening bite is still your best bet. Slow trolling small plastics along weed lines will get fish.
Bass- Largemouth bass can still be caught in the pads-try casting frogs or jig with a plastic trailer. Wacky rigs worked out off weed edges can also produce fish.
Muskie- Cast shallow rocks, sand, and weeds-Then cast again!
Good Luck!
