Fishing Report – week of July 19, 2021

Fishing Report-Swanson’s Bait & Tackle

Bass- Both LMB and SMB have been in the same areas of local lakes. Mid-lake structure with weeds and rock have been good areas to find fish. Wacky rigged baits, Ned, and drop shot rigs have all been working. Try casting frogs up shallow in pads during low light hours for fun top water action.

Walleye- Fishing remains hit or miss. Some day’s fish are found up breaklines in small pods and you can work them with lindy rigs and crawlers. Jig Raps worked in depths of over 20ft are another option.

Crappie/Sunfish- Slow trolling weedlines during low light hours is still producing good numbers of fish. Once you locate fish, try casting small jigs to them. 13ft with weeds is a great place to look.

Muskies- Hot temps should push fish up to shallow rocks.
