Fishing Report-Swanson’s Bait & Tackle

Walleye- Lindy rig with crawlers along breaks with weeds. Our best depth have been between 10-16ft, working at speeds from 1pmh to 1.2pmh. Jig Raps are working best for fish in water deeper than 16ft.

Crappie/Panfish- Slow working jigs with plastics or a chunk of crawler through the weeds has been working best. Low light hours are still the best option for fast action.

Bass- Largemouth bass are up in the weeds, cast frogs up in the pads for action. Smallmouth bass are still relating to rocks. Drop shot rigs are a great option for these fish.

Muskie- Cast! Cast! And Cast Again! Try lots of baits in lots of spots! We are seeing fish. Slow moving top water baits after dark have put some big fish in the boat so far.
