The Piggy BBQ

 

Walker is home to The Piggy BBQ, a family-owned restaurant located right on Main Street. Open year-round since 2012, The Piggy BBQ smokes fresh ribs, brisket, and pork daily. Jimmy’s Family Restaurant

 

For over 62 years, Jimmy’s Family Restaurant has been serving specialty sandwiches and family style breakfast to the Walker area. A family-owned restaurant found on Minnesota Avenue, Jimmy’s serves breakfast all day as well as a variety of children’s entrees for the younger bunch. Bayside Bar and Grill



Also on Minnesota Avenue in downtown Walker, Bayside Bar and Grill serves up hand-pattied hamburgers and northern Minnesota’s best cheesesteak, all in a fun, unique atmosphere. Benson’s Eating Emporium


As the name suggests, Benson’s Eating Emporium on Minnesota Avenue exists solely for your culinary delights, all in the style of an 1896 eating and drinking emporium. The family-style dining room offers a variety of sandwiches and burgers, including the “World-Famous Leech Burger” – if you can finish this monster burger and fries in 45 minutes, it’s free.
