Member of the week: Woodland Resort

The Leech Lake Area Chamber of Commerce presents Woodland Resort as the Member of The Week! Each week a new business will be featured as a “thank you” for being a part of our membership. Woodland Resort is located just 4 miles north of Walker on Kabekona Bay of Leech Lake, with 13 units available from May thru September.  4 campsites are available along the lake for tents and small campers.  Guests enjoy the sandy beach and swimming area, playground, and miles of scenic beauty along the paved Paul Bunyan State Trail, which passes through the resort.  The new lodge is open daily and offers souvenirs, snacks, pizza, grocery items, ice, bait and gas.  Woodland Resort has been owned by the Schmidtke family since 1966.
