The day time crank bait bite remained strong this past week. Walleyes are actively feeding in 9-11 ft of water in the main lake. The perch bite is in full swing with both numbers and keepers (10+ inches for me). The water temps are now in the mid 60’s and falling. The walleyes hopefully will be back to their spring time spots this week and the start of the fall jig and minnow bite. Start checking the reeds and shallow (4ft or less) sand and rocks for Muskie. The fall colors have started and changing daily. Come and enjoy some great fall fishing the next few weeks.
