Member of the week: Younique by Lynnette

The Leech Lake Area Chamber of Commerce presents Younique by Lynnette  as the Member of The Week! Each week a new business will be featured as a “thank you” for being a part of our membership. I think I represent the spirit of this community when I say I wear so many hats! The great people I’ve met since moving to this community in 2012 do so much every day to earn a living, support their neighbors and try to make where we live a better place. When I joined the chamber, I was new to the area and had started with a direct sales company Younique. I love make up not because as women we need to change how we look to be beautiful but because we all deserve to take just a few minutes every day to focus on us and feel a little more confident. To provide a platform to outreach and meet new women we started the Women’s Networking Group. The Chamber was instrumental in getting this group going and continues to provide support.

Currently I also am an advocate for a local non-profit Support Within Reach for victims of sexual violence. I’m proud of our community for their support of our upcoming event “One Loaf at a Time”, a symposium on Sex Trafficking and Sexual Violence.
