Member of the week: Walker Area Community Center

The Leech Lake Area Chamber of Commerce presents Walker Area Community Center as the Member of The Week! Each week a new business will be featured as a “thank you” for being a part of our membership. The Walker Area Community Center continues to be an integral part of Walker and the surrounding communities.  The WACC is a gathering place for members of our communities to participate in classes, programs and activities.  Some of the activities that the WACC has to offer are the Boys and Girls Club, Walker Rotary, Walker Youth Hockey, Park Rapids-Walker High School Hockey, Walker Curling Club, fitness center, Just for Kix and Tae Kwon Do; more activities can be found on our calendar at www.walkerareacommunitycenter.com . The WACC continues with its four signature events that are a key part of the fundraising activities for the community center; the events are the Polar Pout Plunge, Chase the Police Triathlon, Walker North Country Marathon and the WACC Golf Classic.  Thank you for your ongoing support.
