Member of the week: Leech Lake Television Corporation
The Leech Lake Area Chamber of Commerce presents Leech Lake Television Corporation as the Member of The Week! Each week a new business will be featured as a “thank you” for being a part of our membership. Since 1960, the nonprofit Leech Lake TV (LLTV) Corporation has served Leech Lake area residents by providing over-the-air television service. LLTV serves the communities of Walker, Akeley, Laporte, Longville, Hackensack, Backus, Remer, Nevis, Pine River, Park Rapids Cass Lake and Bena, plus the surrounding rural areas.
Anyone who visits the LLTV website, www.leechlaketv.org, will find other interesting features: three real-time cameras. Two are located in downtown Walker. Watch carefully, and you may see someone you know walk or drive by! The other camera is installed on LLTV’s tower, and looks across the lake and the city of Walker from several angles. The website also has links to the Walker Area Community Center and Leech Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
