Walleye- Summer patterns are in full swing. Bottom Bouncers with spinners and crawlers pulled along weedlines and over flats is one of the best ways to get fish. Best depths have been12-18ft and the speeds may vary between 1 to 1.5mph. Silver, greens, and golds have been the best colors. Trolling crankbaits at low light is also producing some fish. Lindy rigs and jigs also can be effective presentations. Keep moving to find active fish.
Bass- Find the cabbage and find fish. Working plastics through and around weeds will get action. Spinnerbaits have worked best for us but top water and jigs will also work. Keep changing colors until you find one that works.
Panfish/Crappies- Working weed edges with small jigs trolled has been a great way to boat crappies. Try different colors until you find what they want. Larger sunfish can be caught off deep weed edges in the 20ft range using drop shots or slow moving lindy rigs with small leeches or crawlers.
Good Luck!
