Fishing Opener

I think it’s safe to say that everyone is aware of our current weather situation. Currently we have been hearing reports of there still being 26-30 inches out in Walker Bay and still no sign on warmer weather in the near future! With Fishing opener being just around the corner… only 23 days away, to be exact. This could create quite the problem. Will we have a fishing opener in ice houses?? That would be a first!  Maybe by some miracle it will be 70 degrees for the next 2 weeks…. wouldn’t that be nice! Well, I guess Mother Nature has proven that the control is out of our hands. So I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens! Lets all keep our fingers crossed!
