CELEBRATE NATIONAL GOLF MONTH IN LEECH LAKE
August is National Golf month and there is still plenty of time to get out there and experience the best of “Up North” golf in the Leech Lake Area. This 18 hole course is both beautiful and challenging. It is our championship course located right in Walker, MN. They serve wonderful food and great drinks. Open to the public they have been delighting golfers for 90 plus years. They have a Pro Shop, power carts, and golf clubs for rent in case you forget your own. You can also inquire about golf instruction.
Their restaurant offers a full menu and freshly made breakfast sandwiches for those who are starting early and want to get a great breakfast in early. In the spring and fall the restaurant is open from 9 am to 6 pm and in the summer months, they are open from 7 am to 7 pm.
Wedgewood Golf Course & Driving Range
Also located in Walker, MN, this 9 hole course offers rental clubs, carts and a snack bar. It is a competitive course that overlooks Leech Lake and offers a lakeside campground next door. Group rates are available and if you’re feeling a little rusty be sure to visit our driving range!
