Camp O’ My Dreams Joins the Leech Lake Chamber

Matthew & Wilma Poremba purchased Camp O’ My Dreams resort in 1965. At that time there were 7 modern cabins and several campsites with plenty of playground areas. In 1985, Matt passed away and Wilma continued to run the resort with help from her daughter, Danita. Many changes have occurred over the years, including in 1994 when Wilma built a new home as bed and breakfast with the rooms located on the first floor. Currently Danita is the owner of the resort/motel.

The resort offers seasonal furnished cabins and seasonal RV/Park model campgrounds. There currently is a waiting list for both seasonal cabins and campgrounds.

The bed and breakfast rooms are now being run as a motel and offers not only a minimum 2 day stay but also discounts for weekly stays. Each room has their own private bathroom and roku tv, which 2 rooms are handicapped accessible. Our motel has a private entrance, wireless internet, air conditioners in every room, a sitting room with a large tv and a kitchenette. Kitchenette includes a full size frig, coffee pot, toaster, convection oven and microwave/air fryer. Our place offers sandy beach for swimming, park-like playground, Turtle races every Wednesday in Longville, boat launching, plenty of dock space, excellent fishing and hunting.

The motel is opened all year. Snowmobilers, hunters and fisherman are welcomed! This is a smoke free facility.
