The Leech Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has a very active ambassador program. The only requirement is loving Walker and Leech Lake.

My wife, Joan and I have lived in Walker for 21 years. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, gardening, boating, water skiing, biking, traveling and fishing. In my spare time I volunteer at Hope Lutheran Church, Walker Senior Center, Hackensack Co-op and Faith in Action.
We spend winters in south Texas where we re connect with friends. Fishing is also good there. As a snowbird I am a volunteer income tax preparer for AARP. In March Joan and I take our annual trip to south Florida where we visit our daughter Marisa and take in some twins games.
