25th Annual Ethnic Fest is a huge success

On Sept. 9th – Walker celebrated their 25th Annual Ethnic Fest.  The town hosted 5 stages around town with music and dance.  We had our streets full of Ethnic Food and Ethnic Crafts.  The day began with a parade down main street followed by a children’s concert and crafts on the courthouse lawn.  At the noon the music began on all 5 stages. For the small price of a pin, you could claim preferred seating under the tents.  After 6 pm the music moved indoors to our local restaurants and bars carrying the festivities into the night.

The Leech Lake Chamber would like to thank all of sponsors for making this event happen.  Spencer Ross Legion sponsored the Bagpipers so that we could enjoy them all over town.  We also would like to thank First National Bank of Walker, Sanford Health, Arvig Communication and Northern Lights Events Center for their sponsorship as well.
