Guided Fishing
Saturday AM & Afternoon
Enjoy a guided fishing trip with family or friends on 109,000 acre Leech Lake. All equipment is provided just step on board. Four hour excursion will put you on top some of Leech Lake’s hottest walleye beds. Six boats scheduled for your enjoyment. Sign up at activity counter.
Horse riding

Jack Pine Stables has been in operation since 1998, serving special needs children & adults since 2000. We have eight well trained horses and many seasoned volunteer helpers. We will furnish helmets (required by our insurance) & you must wear sturdy shoes, not sandals. Horses do not intentionally step on toes, but it does happen. We look forward to you riding with us. Trap Shooting
Saturday Afternoon
North Star Sportsmen’s Club host you to a couple of hours of shooting trap. Shells provided by the Walker community, some shotguns available. The pistol range will be open but you must have your own pistol and ammo. Sign up at activity counter.

Enjoy a sight seeing trip with family and friends around Steamboat and Walker Bays. Granted no fall colors but a lot of beauty none the less. Once again just step on board, sit back and let one of Leech Lake’s finest guides show you the sights. Sign up at activity counter.
Jewelry Making – Beaded Earrings

Participants create Swarovski crystal/gem earrings. Your unique design is another opportunity to create a lasting memento. Open to mothers and daughters. Your host Nancy Jacobson. Sign up at activity counter.
Biking – on the Heartland Trail
Saturday AM & Afternoon
Enjoy a leisurely ride through the Heartland trail. The scenic trail leads you through forests and lake side beauty. It is not uncommon to see wildlife along the trail or accidently stop at the local DQ. Sign up at activity counter.
Fishing Off the Dock
Saturday AM & Afternoon

If the weather turns south maybe a movie is in store. The Walker community will host you to a showing at The Bear Pause Theatre in Hackensack. Sign up at activity counter.
Meet & Greet / Bingo / Family Activities
Friday Evening
Kick off meal to meet the WWP Staff and each other. Sign up for activities, Enjoy some family fun with Tony Sauer leading Bingo. Family Art Project offered.
Golf
Saturday
Tianna Country Club, Long Bow Golf Course and the Wedgewood open up their facilities for you to enjoy 9 or 18 holes. Bring your clubs and delight in some of the Northlands finest golfing. Sign up at the activity counter.
Hay Rides
Saturday
The lodge aquarium is needing your help. 500 gallons of water but no fish. If you are under sixteen years old you are eligible to stock the tank. The MN DNR asks you to return walleyes and northerns to the lake. Bass season is not yet open. No sign up required.

Join the WWP Team & Hiawatha Staff for a highly FUN / slightly competative / High energy GAME NIGHT! We will play some old favorites, as well as teach some new … we want to send you home with some creative ideas for time with friends & family
